As part of our initiative to support the communities in which we live, the Croy Engineering team is lacing up our sneakers for an exciting series of races!  Jeff Drobney, race organizer and City Manager with the City of Kennesaw, has been exceptionally successful in bringing together the community and local businesses to support non-profit organizations in the area.  We are proud to be a corporate sponsor of the series and commend Mr. Drobney for his continued commitment.

According to Drobney, “The Kennesaw Grand Prix 5k Series is the premier running series in Cobb County.  It has grown from a single race in 2009 with less than 200 registered runners and walkers, to a six-race series that attracts thousands of runners and walkers each year.” The race series is run on a primarily level, asphalt course, making it ideal for runners who are looking for a qualifying time for the Peachtree Road Race.

“The Grand Prix Series is blessed to have tremendous community and corporate support and we are thankful that Croy Engineering has chosen to be a Presenting Sponsor in 2016,” Drobney says.  “Since 2011 the series has generated over $500,000 for the various non-profit organizations that participate in the Grand Prix Series.  If you are interested in learning more about the Series or registering for an upcoming race, please visit our website at www.kennesawgrandprix.com.”
