Croy Engineering was a proud sponsor of the 2nd annual Smyrna 5k Race held this past Labor Day September 5th. The proceeds from the race benefit the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation and the Smyrna Optimists. This year’s the race saw a 30% increase in participation over last year’s, as not only runners but entire families joined in on the fun. Not only was the regular 5k well attended, there were quite a number of participants who ran in the kids’ races. Adding to everyone’s enjoyment, the Campbell High School Drum Line also performed.
Quite a few Croy staff and their families participated, including Traffic Engineering and Planning Manager Dan Dobry, who finished 3rd in his age group. Louisa Robinson, wife of Project Engineer Tom Robinson, was the 3rd place finisher overall among all female participants.
