Croy Engineering manages the acquisition of all right-of-way and easements for the numerous projects undertaken by the City. The projects vary in scope from major road widening projects and intersection improvements to pedestrian and multiuse trail projects. Recent projects include:
- Fairground Street Improvements – Addition of a raised median, turn bays, signal improvements, and pedestrian improvements. Right-of-way acquisition consisted of approximately 94 Parcels.
- Roswell Street Road and Streetscape Improvements – Addition of raised median and pedestrian improvements along the road corridor from Cobb Parkway to the Marietta Square area. Right-of-way acquisition consists of approximately 125 Parcels.
- Franklin Road Improvements – Addition of raised median and pedestrian improvements from Twin Brooks Drive to South Marietta Parkway and intersection improvements at the intersection of Delk Road to include the addition of a raised median on the intersection approach and a right turn lane. Right-of-way acquisition consisted of approximately 20 Parcels.
- Kennesaw Mountain to Chattahoochee River Trail – Addition of a 10 foot wide multi-use trail from the existing trail at Tower Road through the City, terminating at South Cobb Drive where it will be joined by the Cobb County portion of the project that will extend it to the Chattahoochee River. There are approximately 52 parcels to be acquired as part of four phases, and includes railroad right-of-way.
