During his 20-year career, Mr. Romain has served as design engineer and project manager on numerous roadway design projects. Prior to joining Croy, he gained 10 years of experience working for GDOT as a Design Engineer and then as Civil Engineering Group Manager. Mr. Romain’s experience includes, but is not limited to calculations and reports; geometric design; drainage design; capacity analysis; pavement and erosion control design; preparing plans for construction; and utilities. He is also experienced in signing and marking; signals and right-of-way; and performing drafting tasks for various projects using Microstation and AutoCAD. Mr. Romain is well-versed in the QA/QC process as well as providing cost/quantity estimates and submittals for all phases of the design process. His professional career also includes teaching professional engineering development courses.
