RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support for land acquisition managers and agents, including drafting letters and preparing all documents associated with the real estate acquisition process.
- Be responsible for data entries into Cobb County’s Project View Information Management system.
- Support digital and physical file management (scanning, filing, etc.) efforts and perform file close-out upon project completion.
- Assist in administrative duties as needed. These efforts include handling incoming and outgoing mail; composing, typing, and proofreading documents; scheduling appointments; and filing and providing back-up coverage to other administrative desks.
- Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as an office administrative assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, including personal computers, printers, and copiers
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize efforts
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary degree preferred)
