Croy is seeking a detail-oriented team player with strong time and project management skills to support our Program Accounting department with all financial accounting aspects of a large and complex program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile, input, and review data to support accurate program budget and expense reporting
- Coordinate all financial accounting aspects of a large and complex program, including financial reporting, contract review and management, and communication with contractors
- Support the Program Manager in providing deliverables and services on-time, within requirements, and to the client’s satisfaction
- Support the preparation, review, and coordination of program audits
- Audit and process contractor pay applications within two weeks
- Manage assigned contracts and contract budgets
- Prepare financials and reconciliations for assigned projects/programs
- Ensure documentation compliance for each assigned project/program
- Other duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in accounting (preferred)
- Experience in contractor pay applications and/or governmental accounting
- Experience with Davis-Bacon wage report (preferred)
- Experience with Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) contract compliance reporting (preferred)
- Knowledge of general accounting and fiscal management principles
- Attention to detail to effectively analyze general ledger accounts and financial statements
- Effective time and project management skills, with the ability to adeptly organize and manage multiple deadlines and projects
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow, along with a positive team attitude
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Access, Excel, and Outlook
