The Intermodal Facility in downtown Moultrie consists of a 3,150 square foot building with a ticketing booth, waiting and concession area, and restrooms. Included on the site are a bus/taxi pull-off and canopy and a 52-space concrete parking lot. A paver plaza area is also included to match the downtown area. The facility site was designed around existing wells and waterworks for the City’s water supply that are located on the property, and the site plan provides for access and maintenance, as necessary.
Croy Engineering coordinated the design effort, the bidding process, and construction management. Croy performed the survey, site design, drainage design, and hardscape design for the site and performed the utility design work to serve the building. The project required GDOT approval for the bus/taxi pull-off on Second Street/SR 37.
