Croy, partnered with CERM, is providing on-call land surveying services in support of engineering work undertaken by the Department of Aviation Planning and Development Department at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The surveying services will include:
- Topographic definition, including infields, pavements, roads and parking facilities
- Structure and utility locations in accordance with FAA AC 150/5300 – 18B: Field Data Collection and GIS Standards
- Sub-surface Utility Location
- Verification, setting and staking of property and lease lines
- Establishment and maintenance of survey control in accordance with FAA AC 150/5300 – 16A: Establishment of Geodetic Control
- Verification of clearances for runway approach surfaces
- Coordination with aerial mapping consultants involving placing ground targets and providing horizontal and vertical control on the ground
- Providing reference controls for construction contractors
- Assistance in performance of construction quality assurance surveys when requested
