Dan Dobry has successfully completed a variety of traffic and transportation projects including traffic impact studies, site access evaluations, comprehensive transportation plans, traffic signal warrant analyses, traffic signal designs, safety and operational analyses, traffic calming alternatives, bicycle and pedestrian plans, parking studies and parking lot design, capacity analyses, transit development plan, and aspirations-based transportation planning. Prior to joining Croy Engineering, Dan had served as both a design engineer and then Chief Engineer for the Cobb County DOT before advancing to the position of Director. In this capacity, Dan was responsible for the operations of a 165-staff department. He also represented Cobb County on numerous regional committees, including the Transportation Coordinating Committee of the Atlanta Regional Commission. As a Croy Division Manager, Dan has managed the preparation of traffic impact studies that were part of successful rezonings for new development. He also directed and participated in the traffic engineering studies that resulted in access improvements with a median break and traffic signals on State Routes for two new WellStar health facilities.
