During his career, Greg has served as a design engineer and project manager for projects including roads, highways, multi-use trails, pedestrian facilities, storm water, and water and wastewater systems. He served as Public Works Director for the City of Marietta, where he was responsible for all divisions of the Department including Site Development and Erosion Control, Stormwater Management, Roadway Division, Traffic Division, Building Inspections, Sanitation Division and the Fleet Maintenance Division. As Public Works Director for the City, he was responsible for the City’s SPLOST for transportation, comprised of over $35 million dollars of roadway, pedestrian and storm sewer construction projects. These projects consisted of public engagement, planning, concept design, environmental permitting, right-of-way acquisition and construction management. Greg was also responsible for maintaining over 200 miles of existing City streets, more than 100 signalized intersections and many miles of sidewalks, trails and storm sewer systems.
Greg oversees or assists with many of the general operations of the company, and provides oversight and quality assurance/quality control for a wide variety of the projects performed by Croy Engineering.
