Camp Blount Memorial Park

Historic Site Transformed into Statewide Memorial

Camp Blount Memorial Park will be a statewide memorial celebrating Camp Blount’s historic significance and recognizing the role that Tennesseans played in various wars – solidifying Tennessee’s reputation as the Volunteer State. The park will be created on the undeveloped 38-acre parcel that remains of the original Camp Blount site.

Croy is partnering with the Camp Blount Historic Site Association and the City of Fayetteville for the project, which will establish a memorial, park, and visitor’s center at the Camp Blount site. Croy is currently under contract with the City of Fayetteville to design the entrance drive, parking and restroom facilities, pavilion, and memorial plaza. Future projects will add walking trails and a Visitors Center.

This project has been more than 10 years in the making for the City of Fayetteville. Croy provided construction documents, administered the bidding process, and provided construction administration services to the city to build the monument statue plaza, parking lot, entrance to the Camp (park) from TDOT right-of-way, and additional master planning services, such as trails and utilities for future buildings.
