Croy Engineering provided design and CEI services for development of Burnt Hickory Park, an approximately 160 acre site that includes tennis courts, pavilions, a community center, pads graded for multi-purpose use, and a ball field complex with associated buildings, drives, and parking.  Nature trails are also included within the project. The project was designed for phasing the construction per the County’s direction. 

During the course of the project, Croy:

  • Prepared erosion and sedimentation plans to meet state and local permitting requirements
  • Evaluated site conditions to identify state stream buffers
  • Secured Land Disturbance Permitting (LDP) for the project
  • Prepared update to Notice of Intent for NPDES permitting through Georgia EPD and conducted the required Initial Inspection of the installed erosion control measures
  • Provided hydrology design to obtain a LDP for the project
  • Coordinated water distribution plans and sewage disposal plans required to be within the LDP drawings
  • Provided master meter selection, water distribution design, and coordination with the sanitary sewer design and permitting
  • Developed a conceptual landscape plan
  • Coordinated landscape tree protection and replacement plan and irrigation plan
  • Provided construction engineering and inspection
