Croy Engineering provides on-call engineering services for Henry County under a five-year contract for Capital Improvements to the Henry County Airport. 

  • Airfield Re-marking Design, Bidding, and Construction
  • 1,000’ Runway and Parallel Taxiway Extension and Runway Widening
  • Pleasant Road Relocation around the Runway 24 Protection Zone
  • Land Acquisition in the Runway Protection Zone as well as the Future Mt. Pleasant Road Right of Way. 

By value engineering the design, and ensuring that the County would maximize the development of the airport with the available funds, construction commenced in February of 2013, and the project was substantially completed by July 31, 2013. The runway and parallel taxiway extension project at Atlanta South Regional Airport was honored as the “General Aviation Project of the Year” at the 2013 Georgia Airports Association Conference and Expo.
