$9.2 Million Facility and Park Project Completed On-Time and Below Budget
Funded by a Recreational Bond Program, Croy provided program management services for the renovation of the Taylor-Brawner Hospital for the use of Smyrna City offices and community facilities. The 10-acre site was also converted into a passive park. Croy’s team provided a range of services, including water and gas distribution; storm, sub-drainage, and sanitary systems; site and street furnishings; along with landscaping, irrigation, and lighting. The $9.2 million project was completed on-schedule and below budget.
The park’s elements include trails, pavers, and ramps with rails; an outdoor classroom pavilion; picnic tables and picnic shelter; an information kiosk; gazebo; fountains; bio-retention pond; amphitheater seating wall; playground equipment; benches and swing benches; as well as roadways and associated parking.
