Survey Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage schedules, budgets, progress, and client communication for timely completion of all assigned projects, as well as maintain a forecast of workload and priorities.
• Coordinate field work completion, preparation, calculation sheets, drafting, and quality on all assigned projects.
• Lead drafting efforts and point processing (both conventional and GPS) for assigned projects.
• Assist with the development of Georgia-based statement of qualifications, fee proposals, and cost estimates.
• Assist with review of client billings and outstanding accounts receivable.
• Develop probable cost estimates for survey projects as requested by the client.
• Review, sign, and seals plans and/or easements as appropriate.
• Review boundary retracements with the purpose of condensing the drafting to improve quality, consistency, and overall plat development efforts.
• Review work for consistency of presentation and the application of appropriate standards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5-7 years of experience in surveying
• Pursuing path to Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification (LSIT-certified preferred)
• Boundary/cadastral survey experience (GDOT database prep experience preferred)
• MicroStation InRoads, Civil 3D, and Trimble Business Center experience
• Trimble survey equipment experience (Total Station and GPS)
• Topographic mapping skills and the ability to draw detailed sketches of structures
