RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage schedules, budgets, progress, and client communication for timely completion of all assigned projects, as well as maintain a forecast of workload and priorities.
- Coordinate field work completion, preparation, calculation sheets, drafting, and quality on all assigned projects.
- Lead drafting efforts and point processing (both conventional and GPS) for assigned projects.
- Assist with the development of Georgia-based statement of qualifications, fee proposals, and cost estimates.
- Assist with review of client billings and outstanding accounts receivable.
- Develop probable cost estimates for survey projects as requested by the client.
- Review, sign, and seals plans and/or easements as appropriate.
- Review boundary retracements with the purpose of condensing the drafting to improve quality, consistency, and overall plat development efforts.
- Review work for consistency of presentation and the application of appropriate standards.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-7 years of experience in surveying
- Pursuing path to Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification (LSIT-certified preferred)
- Boundary/cadastral survey experience (GDOT database prep experience preferred)
- MicroStation InRoads, Civil 3D, and Trimble Business Center experience
- Trimble survey equipment experience (Total Station and GPS)
- Topographic mapping skills and the ability to draw detailed sketches of structures
