RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Program Managers with activities and projects related to the relevant municipal program.
- Assist Program Managers with aspects of the project to ensure adherence to established schedule, fee, and deliverables.
- Serve as a secondary point-of-contact for clients on all independent projects related to the program, including holding internal kick-off meetings and coordinating with other departments on relevant tasks, schedules, and deliverables to ensure collaboration.
- Create exhibits in CAD and Adobe for discussion with the client.
- Assist Program Managers with the preparation of contracts and project bidding.
- Assist in resolving problems and/or delays related to projects under the program.
- Work with internal staff to manage the program schedule (as required).
- Occasionally attend public meetings, such as Commission or City Council meetings, assisting with presentations on program updates and/or projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited engineering or construction management program
- 2-4 years of experience, preferably in engineering, design, construction management, project management, and/or program management
- Ability to manage concurrent projects and perform in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing
