Lead Design Civil Engineer / Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare construction documents suitable for land disturbance permitting with various local issuing authorities
• Manage engineering projects, including the scoping, design, schedule, budgets, resources, and quality control
• Prepare erosion, pollution, and sedimentation control plans
• Manage and lead staff on project production and assist in their professional development
• Provide detailed design and calculations for various civil projects, including grading and drainage, stormwater, roadway, utility, and erosion
• Lead the project team to provide deliverables and services on-time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent
• Professional Engineer (PE)
• 3-8 years of civil engineering experience
• Familiarity with site development projects and permitting land disturbance permits with local issuing authorities
• Strong computer skills: MS Outlook, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD extensions
• Self-motivated and ability to apply independent judgement
